Welcome to WordJourney, a Christian magazine who mission is to proclaim the world’s need for salvation in Jesus Christ.

My name is Matt Keegan and I am a follower of Jesus. What this means is that I have received Him as my Savior, the only way to God, and that He has forgiven me of my sins.

I am a Christian and attend a local Calvary Chapel fellowship and support what this association of believers practices. Nevertheless, I’m very interested in preserving as well as advancing the universal church, hence my focus on a variety of ministries and topics.

My personal word journey began when I was 18, but I can see God’s hand on my life from a very young age. Yes, I have prayed “The Sinner’s Prayer” but I also know that this important action was just the first step in a lifelong journey. Continually, I seek God’s face and ask for His guidance to help me follow Him. If you’re looking for a modern Bible hero, I urge you to look elsewhere–I will certainly disappoint you!

Through a story, video, a comment on scripture, or via a simple reflection on life, I openly share with you what is on my heart as well as what others are saying. I’m not a perfect vessel for the Lord, but I am a willing one. I once read that God uses cracked vases — an apt description of who this imperfect man is, so please join me on my Word journey.
