News

WordJourney regular features news of interest to our readers and therefore is inviting submissions from readers, ministries, churches and news organizations.

WordJourney is not interested in republishing sales material though we may consider a new version of the Bible, an important commentary or other study materials as “newsworthy” to our audience. When considering a submission, please respond through our contact form. If we choose to publish your information we’ll contact you–please subscribe to our site for email updates so that you can track your news.

There are a number of different news topics that may be of interest to our readers including:

  • A human interest story, especially one with a strong spiritual component. For example, tell us how someone overcame a drug habit and are trusting the Lord for their deliverance.
  • You’ve launched a new ministry and you want to tell everyone about it. Don’t forget to include a link to your website, contact phone number and other information pertinent to what you do.
  • Share the challenges your missionaries face as they seek out unreached people groups. DO NOT share information with us that could compromise their safety or their work.
  • Is your organization launching an important campaign? Stories such as the annual “Operation Christmas Child” appeal is something our readers want to know about.

Alternately, you may be interested in contributing an article you wrote which might be included with this site. If so, there are a few requirements to keep in mind–no article submitted to WordJourney can be used elsewhere; we can only use original material.

Your article must be a minimum of 400 words long up to a maximum of 750 words. Longer articles are sometimes approved; please contact us for details. Articles should match what this site is all about–proclaiming Jesus as Savior. Articles that exalt an individual or ministry above the name of Jesus are of no use to us. Appropriate photos and logos that you own can be helpful too.

While we certainly cannot publish every work submitted to us, we will review your article or proposal to see if it matches our needs. We’re sorry, but poorly written articles, those that are speculative in nature or anything submitted that is contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ will not be published on WordJourney.
